Welcome...

The Continental Amateur Baseball Association wishes to thank the various national and international teams that participated in CABA events at some level this past season. We appreciate the participation from Panama, Aruba, The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada, as well as from 36 of the continental United States. We are grateful for our rapid growth over the past 5 years and prospects for the future as we add new tournament sites in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and Missouri. Along with CABA leagues and tournament sites from coast to coast, nearly 500 teams participated in CABA World Series and National Championships in 2011.

Participation commitments are already high for our new 14 Year Old and 16 Year Old Wood Bat World Series in Reno Nevada. Our commitment is to continue to provide you with events that are the Gold Standard in youth baseball and we will work diligently to live up to your expectations.

Again, our sincere thanks You are appreciated for making CABA the Gold Standard as the Greatest Show On Dirt!..Click here for more about CABA.

A Message From The President

Hello CABA Baseball Family:

The officers and directors of the Continental Amateur Baseball Association want to thank our loyal participants for their patience as we both mourn the loss of Vice President for Information Systems Rob Mackey, who succumbed to cancer in early August, as well as dealing with the monumental task of finding the perfect fit to fill Rob’s shoes. It has been a difficult period for all of us. It has also been a tedious transition to find the best possible web site “guru” as his replacement.

We believe we have found the right person in Ron Phillips, from Downers Grove, Illinois, who will serve as Director of Information Systems. In addition to the loss of Rob, Commissioner and Newspaper Editor John Mocny has had a series of serious family and personal health issues and our fall newspaper sections and various forms have accordingly been affected. Finally, I had a heart surgery that resulted in an unexpectedly long recovery process. We are behind in everything, but we are now prepared to move forward.

In the coming days you will find that we will be caught up with posting all the information you need to prepare for the upcoming season. We thank you for your patience with us and look forward to renewing our commitment to providing what you have rightly come to expect: the Gold Standard in amateur baseball.

Respectfully,
Larry Redwine
Executive Director
